The Feminine Light

“It’s a lovely book. For women around the world, the questions raised in The Feminine Light are profound ones. The Tao, this universal and intimate balance, is at the heart and soul of our work through NoVo. Thank you for sharing!” -Jennifer Buffett, Board of Directors The Novo Foundation, www.NovoFoundation.org

Jury Duty: An Experience of Civic Duty

April 29th, 2010 · No Comments · Home, Muse News

I was just was called for Jury Duty and was found out I was a potential juror for a three week or more trial. I was thinking that was a long time, but if I could learn something by the experience it might be interesting. In the end, I was excused from the juror pool along with some ten or so others. The case was regarding the letting go of an employee after some 35 years or so employment. The employer was being sued by the plaintiff for letting her go on the grounds of discrimination: age and disability. I had given the case some thought over the two days as a prospective juror and I said to the court…

“It seems to me this case is about three things:

1. Aging – How does one experience getting older?
2. Change – Is one a victim of it or accepting of it if

Update on the development of DaVincisMuse.com and offerings

January 28th, 2010 · No Comments · Articles and News, Home, Muse News

As soon as all the pieces are put into place, we will now be offering six courses for women and much, much more, though I would rather not give the surprise away until I give birth to it. The birthing process is slow, though it has given me new insights.

To let you all know, I am looking for a business partner who can handle that side of things. Too many hats for me in terms of vision/content development, business building, website technologies, marketing, etc; so I am looking to create a team as well. I am also researching how to secure funding and make this happen for you as well as for me. I am very excited about what DaVincisMuse.com will be offering and if all goes well, the vision is really a movement.

I have had help assisting in building some of the foundations (those that know who you are, thank you very much), though at this point I am a bit on my own. Please excuse the delay and thank you for your patience. If anyone has thoughts about how to make this happen, please do contact me at Lane@DaVincisMuse.com.

Sincerely,
Stephany Lane Yarbrough

I was just thinking…there are many women out there who have pearls of wisdom from their experience and if you would like to share that wisdom with other women, it might be a good idea to collect these quotes and add them to the quotes prepared by Da Vinci’s Muse. It also might be fun for you to see your quotes with your name shared…
